I believe myself to be a “community focused” engineer. Despite many stereotypes to the contrary, well done software engineering is inherently a social activity. I get my motivation from seeing my work improve the lives of those around me whether that be through applications, thorough documentation, mentorship, enabling others, automation, etc.
