Karen comes to Inception Health with over 20 years in the health care industry. She started her medical career at the Medical College of Wisconsin and spent over 15 years in physician group leadership roles including Regional Medical Officer, operations, quality, process improvement and physician coaching. Her passion is to help design improved systems of patient-centered, high quality, cost-effective care. She is privileged to continue an active clinical practice in Milwaukee and enjoys learning how to integrate technology and medical advances into her daily practice as well as training and educating colleagues about new initiatives. Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Service through the Honors Program at Baylor University. She completed medical school at The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine at The University of Iowa and residency training in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals program.
